Dr. Kamal has extensively worked in the field of Foot & Ankle problems. His expertise in this field continues to grow after attending several training programmes across the globe.
He has been an Observer at Duke University Medical Centre, Durham, North Carolina, USA, super specialising in Foot and Ankle ailments.
EDUCATION
Dr. Kamal Dureja began his medical education in 1977 from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and completed his post-graduation degree in Orthopaedics in 1987 from the same college.
He was awarded a Gold Medal during his residency.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Complex trauma of the ankle such as Pilon fractures, Tri-malleolar fracture dislocations, Talus and Calcaneus fractures, Lisfranc injuries, and Turf toe injuries, managed as per the highest international standards of care.
Deformities due to Diabetes, Charcot Arthropathy, and neurological conditions are corrected to improve ambulation and conserve energy.
Congenital foot deformities are surgically addressed to achieve a near-normal shape and function of the feet.
Bunion and Hammer toe corrections are performed in a manner that practically requires no bed rest.
Sports-related ankle injuries such as ligament tears and OLT are treated without cast or plaster, with successful outcomes.
Overall, the standard of Foot and Ankle treatment in the hospital setting is at par with international standards.
